Stanley’s scholars Nathan Wolland and Harry Waterhouse give an insight into their pre-season tour to Holland…
Today we started the day off with breakfast before walking over to the local pitches to train. It was a wet morning however we didn’t let this affect our tempo in training, we started off with some high intensity drills and finished with some shape and positional work to prepare for tomorrow’s game with PSV.
After lunch our tour guide organised bikes for all of the players and coaches to head out on a bike ride, the weather had now picked up a bit and had become a really sunny and warm, our tour guide let us stop off at one of the local lakes and we were able to jumped in and cool off and get some ice cream.
After the bike ride we had dinner at the hotel, we then packed our bags before any room inspections were carried out to make sure everything was in order as tonight is our last night in Holland.
