Substitute Rommy Boco fired home an injury time equaliser to halt a run of four successive league losses for the Reds.
Yeovil had taken a 51st minute lead through Otis Khan as they chase a play-off spot.
However, Boco fired home his seventh goal of the season to halt a run of seven-and-a-half hours without a goal for Stanley.
The big worry for the Reds though was the health of on-loan Bristol City defender Zak Vyner who was stretchered off with breathing problems on 38 minutes and was taken to hospital.
The first shot on target fell to Yeovil’s Ryan Hedges from outside the area on 11 minutes but it was straight into the arms of keeper Elliot Parish.
Four minutes later, Khan also beat the off-side trap to fire a shot on target but the sliding legs of a Stanley defender denied him.
Matty Pearson had Stanley’s first shot on target on 18 minutes but it was comfortable for Artur Krysiak.
Glovers striker Tom Eaves headed over in a good position from Ben Whitfield’s cross while, at the other end, Shay McCartan’s free kick from 20 yards had to be pushed away by Krysiak on the half hour mark.
Minutes later John O’Sullivan came even closer with a curling shot which was inches over the top corner of the net.
However the game was halted on 38 minutes when defender Vyner went down, breathing heavily. The medical staff came on and Vyner was stretchered off to have further treatment.
Stanley had a couple of chances towards the end of the half with Mark Hughes having a free header from sub Paddy Lacey’s free kick but he couldn’t find the target.
Parish denied Tom Eaves on the stroke of half-time as it remained all-square.
However Yeovil broke the deadlock on 51 minutes from a free kick with Khan rifling the ball low and hard into the bottom of the net.
Hedges then saw a strike sail across the goal and just wide with Coleman then putting on Boco on 61 minutes as the Reds looked for an equaliser.
And Boco had the ball in the back of the net but the assistant’s flag was up for off-side.
Jordan Clark just couldn’t steer the ball into the net at the far post as it looked like time was running out with Gary Taylor-Fletcher being put on up front.
And it was Taylor-Fletcher’s flick on which found Boco who finished well for a much-needed equaliser
There will be further updates on Zak’s condition when we get it from our medical staff.
