The striker is now in his third spell with the club after re-signing on an 18 month contract following his departure from Cheltenham Town on deadline day in January 2015.
His first taste of regular league football came as a teenager in a loan spell from Tranmere before a permanent deal brought him back to Accrington.
He was a key part of the side that reached the play-off semi-finals in 2011 before joining Shrewsbury Town and has since spent time at both Rochdale and Cheltenham.
Injury and the form of Billy Kee hampered his 2015/16 campaign but the frontman signed a new two year deal in the summer and will be out to become a key figure this time round.
