All supporters coming to the Wham Stadium will now need to buy a ticket prior to the match, starting from Saturday’s clash with Barnet.
There will be no cash on the turnstiles from Saturday onwards but fans will be able to buy tickets from booths set up close to the turnstiles or the ticket office on matchdays.
They can also buy match tickets on weekdays from the ground – from 10am-4pm – or at the Supporters Club stall in the Market Hall in the town centre.
Then fans will simply hand over the tickets at the turnstiles when entering the ground.
“We have reviewed our security and safety and it’s important we make these changes,” said Managing Director David Burgess.
“By doing this, it should make the whole procedure of coming to watch Stanley quicker and smoother.”
