Reds winger Erico Sousa has joined Barrow on a short-term loan deal.
Sousa, a former Portugal U19 international, signed with Stanley in June 2017, and will join the National League side for a month as he looks for more game time.
Ian Evatt’s side sit 12th in the National League, and the midfielder could go straight into the squad ahead of the Bluebirds’ game at Bromley on Saturday.
Sousa came to England from Portugal aged 10, and began his career at Manchester City’s academy at 15-years-old before moving to the academy set-up at Barnsley.
He moved to the Slovenian first division where he played regularly before returning to England, playing for non-league sides Tadcaster and Tranmere.
Sousa is yet to make an appearance in for Stanley in League One this season, but has played for the Reds in the Lancashire Senior Cup victory over Morecambe.
Everyone at Accrington Stanley wishes Erico all the best.
