Accrington Stanley defender Zaine Francis-Angol is looking forward to meeting the rest of the squad after joining the club this afternoon on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old, who has signed a one-year contract with the club, spoke of how good it feels to be joining the club and that he can’t wait to start working with Stanley manager John Coleman.
“It feels good, I’m really looking forward to getting in and meeting the lads and obviously working with the gaffer and I just can’t wait to get started.”
The Antiguan international also explained what he thinks he can bring to the squad ahead of the 2019/20 Sky Bet League One season.
“I’d like to think that I’m solid defensively and just the attacking side of things as well, like overlapping and hopefully adding some assists to the team as well.”
